CIT01-20S 75°C Thermal Stability & Self-heating Substance Tester can determine whether a substance will oxidize and self-heat by placing the substance in a cubic steel mesh container with a side length of 25mm or 100mm and exposing it to the air at temperatures of 100°C, 120°C, and 140°C; also can test the temperature of substance at high temperatures. Stability under conditions to determine whether a substance is too hazardous to transport.

The instrument can detect the self-heating phenomenon of samples maintained at 75°C for 48 hours.
By detecting the temperature difference between the test sample and the inert reference material, it can determine whether the test sample emits heat when the temperature is maintained at 75°C. Suitable for explosive substances, desensitized explosive substances, self-reactive substances and organic peroxides.
Comply with 33.3.1.6 Test N.4 of the United Nations Recommendation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods Manual of Tests and Criteria: Test Method for Self-Heating Substances and “Test Method for Self-Heating of Flammable Solids of Dangerous Goods”; Complies with the United Nations ” Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods·Manual of Tests and Criteria” 13.6.1 Test 3(c): Thermal stability test at 75°C and EN 13631-2:2002 “Explosives for civil use. High explosives. Part 2: Determination of explosives Thermal Stability”.
