Inert loop spray dryer, also known as organic solvent spray dryer, is a closed-loop spray drying process specially used for suspensions made of organic solvents such as ethanol, methanol, acetone, hexane, and gas oil. In order to enhance the explosion-proof performance, an inert gas (such as nitrogen) is used as the drying medium. The product is non-oxidized during the whole process, the medium can be recycled, and the inert gas (such as nitrogen) can be recycled.
Inert loop spray dryer mainly used for drying special materials whose volatiles are organic chemical solvents, toxic or harmful to human body and environment after escaping. Its characteristics are that the system forms a closed circulation loop, the gas medium is circulated, and the organic solvent can be recycled. It is suitable for materials containing organic solvents in the liquid or the product is oxidizable, flammable and explosive. Under normal circumstances, the materials that need this process cannot contact oxygen, so the heat carrier mostly uses inert gas (such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.).

Component Introduction
The equipment is mainly composed of electronic control system, feeding system, atomization system, drying system, product recovery system, condensation system, gas circulation system and intelligent safety system .
Electronic control system
Composition: includes controller, touch screen, module, inverter, solid-state relay, temperature sensor, etc.
Description: The electronic control system is the brain of the whole machine. This machine is equipped with a self-developed electronic control system, which has more precise control and good product stability.
Feeding system
Composition: includes batching tank, solvent tank, peristaltic pump and feed pipeline.
Description: Put the prepared slurry into the batching tank, stir it evenly, and then drive the peristaltic pump to pass through the pipeline valve to the centrifugal atomizer.
Atomization system
Composition: includes atomizer, volute structure, air outlet temperature sensor, pressure regulating valve and pressure gauge.
Description: The heated air enters the volute structure, comes out through the conical dispersion port of the atomizing tower, and flows downward in a spiral. After the material is fully atomized by the centrifugal atomizing disk, it fully contacts the hot air in the drying tower to achieve instant drying.
Drying system
Composition: It includes drying tower body, pressure gauge inside the tower, perspective mirror, air inlet pipe, air outlet pipe and other components.
Description: A filter device is installed inside the air inlet pipe. The atomized slurry is fully in contact with the hot air in the drying tower, the solvent is evaporated, the solid material is dried into powder and falls into the collecting barrel at the bottom, and the gas is discharged from the air outlet pipe.
Product recovery system
Composition: including cyclone separator, cyclone collecting tank, bag dust collector, bag pulse vibrator;
Description: Gas-solid separation is carried out, air is discharged, and the dried materials are collected and separated. The graded collection method is adopted, including tower bottom collection + cyclone collection + bag collection. The tower bottom and cyclone collect large particles, and the bag collects fine particles.
Condensation system
Composition: including refrigeration unit, condenser, refrigerant circulation pump, defogger and connecting pipes;
Description: The air is separated into gas and liquid, and the discharged “wet” gas (including evaporated organic solvent vapor) enters the condenser. The organic solvent vapor is automatically discharged into the solvent tank after condensation and recovery, while the inert gas is returned to the gas circulation system after cooling and deliquescence, and continues to be used as a drying medium;
Gas circulation system
Composition: including filter, induced draft fan, heater, inlet air temperature sensor, etc.
Description: The gas circulation is completed by a set of circulating fans. The drying medium is output from the circulating fans, flows through the condensing device, electric heater, drying tower, cyclone separator or bag filter, temperature-resistant high-efficiency filter, and then returns to the circulating fans for reuse, thus forming a gas circulation system.
Intelligent safety system
Composition: including oxygen analyzer, nitrogen inlet valve, vent valve, safety valve, pressure gauge, differential pressure gauge and other components;
Description: The system is equipped with a sample analyzer. When the oxygen content in the system exceeds the standard, the nitrogen inlet valve and the vent valve will be automatically activated to reduce the oxygen content and improve safety. The system is equipped with various pressure gauges to instantly detect the pressure in the system. When the pressure in the system is too high, the safety valve will automatically open to release the pressure to ensure the safe operation of the system.
Overall characteristics of the equipment
Three-layer explosion-proof, high explosion-proof coefficient
The first level of basic explosion protection : inert gas – nitrogen is used as the drying medium. The entire pipeline adopts a closed-loop circulation to control the oxygen content in the system. The system operates normally when the oxygen content is below 2%.
The second level of mechanical explosion protection : When the pressure gauge in the tower shows that the pressure in the system is too high (higher than 4000pa), the safety valve automatically opens to release the pressure. When the oxygen content in the air is higher than 2%, the vent valve will discharge some air, and the nitrogen inlet valve will fill in nitrogen to reduce the oxygen content and prevent explosion.
The third level of final explosion-proof : explosion-proof disk. When the pressure in the drying tower system rises abnormally, the explosion-proof disk on the top of the tower will automatically open to release the explosion. Explosion-proof, high safety factor .
