CTA-400A Rapid Screening Calorimeter is a professional calorimetric instrument for rapid evaluation of the heat hazard of reactions. It supports multiple temperature scanning modes and can obtain heat, pressure, gas production and release data in a wide temperature range. It is widely used to evaluate the thermal stability of chemicals, chemical processes, chemical storage, process optimization and amplification, chemically active materials, material compatibility, hazardous chemical transportation and the heat hazard of chemical reactions. The Rapid Screening Calorimeter can provide calorimetric data in a safe and controlled experimental environment. It records the original temperature and pressure data of the sample to be tested during the heating process of the sample to be tested, and uses numerical methods to analyze and calculate it to obtain key thermal behavior parameters, such as the reaction starting temperature, exothermic temperature rise, specific heat release, gas production and other parameters of the sample to be tested. The Rapid Screening Calorimeter supports three modes: constant temperature mode, scanning mode, and dual gradient scanning mode. Compared with the differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), it can provide pressure data to calculate the gas production and release data. At the same time, the larger test sample volume ensures the authenticity of the reaction starting temperature parameters. It is suitable for process safety research in large safety laboratories in the fields of chemical, pharmaceutical, and scientific research. It can also meet the needs of independent experiments in small laboratories with limited funds or little relevant experience, and help small laboratories obtain preliminary safety data.
