Large Battery Adiabatic Calorimeter complies with the "Adiabatic Temperature Rise Characteristics" experimental standard of 36276-2023 "Lithium-ion Batteries for Power Energy Storage", and can meet the thermal safety test requirements of blade batteries within 1500mm and small modules; it conforms to the development trend of large-scale and high energy ratio of battery cells, and can make up for the industry's inability to measure the thermal characteristic parameters of large blade batteries in an adiabatic environment.

 

Product Introduction

LBT-1000A Large Battery Adiabatic Calorimeter has a special test mode that complies with the "adiabatic temperature rise characteristics" experimental standard of 36276-2023 "Lithium-ion Batteries for Power Energy Storage". It is an adiabatic calorimeter for studying large battery cells and small modules with a long side of 100mm~1500mm. It can realize battery thermal runaway test, battery gas production test, battery charge and discharge heat production test, battery specific heat capacity test, and accurately obtain the charge and discharge heat production and specific heat capacity of lithium batteries under low temperature conditions, thermal runaway starting temperature, maximum thermal runaway rate, adiabatic temperature rise characteristics, battery gas production and gas production rate and other parameters. The instrument can provide data support for the safety performance evaluation of lithium batteries and battery modules; and provide an evaluation basis for the low-temperature thermal management system of power batteries.

The instrument has the functions of adiabatic thermal runaway-gas production combined test, adiabatic thermal runaway, gas collection and pressure test, heating wire auxiliary heating, thermal/electrical/mechanical abuse, specific heat capacity test, charge and discharge heat generation test, low temperature test, multi-point temperature measurement, video monitoring, etc.
