  •  It is suitable to determine kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian liquids) by measuring the time for a volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer tubes at a constant temperature.

  • The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard GB/T265 “Test Methods for Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity” and ASTM D 445.

  • It is used to determine the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (Newtonian liquids) and the kinematic viscosity of dark petroleum products. It can also be used to determine the viscosity index of lubricating oils.
